  • Demi Lovato recently guested Norway and talked about the offers for mental health not being good enough in the states. Well, they are not that much better in Norway either. I'm not going to claim that is the worst, but is certainly far from the best. You'll have to be real sick to get help and the help you'll get is limited.

  • Listen, medicine dosent always work properly, whats new?
Medicine, Therapy, support and purpose are the things that will get you through each grueling day my friends. Medicine never just helped a cancer patient. Love, support, therapy and focusing on you're purpose in life is what really matters.Without those, I think we'd ALL be dead.

  • Demi Lovato has no credibility in politics. Just because she can sing doesn't mean she's qualified to speak intelligently about issues like this. All she's doing is spouting her own opinion.

  • Millions of people have some sort of mental issues including depression, ADHD, bipolar, eating disorder, maybe even include dyslexia in that category since they haven't really specify what Mental health issues really mean. I know a lot of people with these problems and none of them are violent.

What is she trying to tell us here ?? She suspecting us that we're all domestic terrorist and we should be taking drugs to keep us docile?

    WTF BBQ April 23, 2016 9:08 pm

  • Removing the stigma from mental illness is such a difficult thing to do on your own, yet Demi is doing it, because she has a very powerful voice that she successfully uses. Legislation is definitely needed to help raise this awareness and get people the treatment they deserve. It's not enough for only 4 out of 10 people to be receiving treatment. We have do more. And although Demi is doing a fantastic job, it's up to all of us, no matter where we're from or whether we're diagnosed with a mental health issue , to help in this campaign. #StayStrong 💜💜💜

  • These mental health organizations that are park of Speak Up are pushing pharmaceuticals for Sunovion. These criminals are hiding behind sweet faces like hers. You join then they eventually will recommend drugs to you as "part of your treatment". I never knew anyone doing well on drugs for depression long term. You just feel euphoric or numb for a while and you have new problems. I've seen it ruin people before. Doctors and pharmacists learn from medical schools funded by drug companies. Everyone you meet will have good intentions and believe they are helping you. They cant tell you that it will inevitably cause brain and nerve damage they were not trained to do so. They tell you it helps and give you a list of side effects which are not simply "side effects" they are a list of what will probably happen due to the internal damage you are receiving. A side effect makes it sound like something temporary and a small problem which is not always the case.

  • Bi-polar, tragedy and struggle and blah blah Oregon Shooting blah…. WAIT WHAT? Oh I see, they want to say people "diagnosed as mentally ill" can't own a gun, gotcha. How many of you take pills? Go to the doctor who said there's something wrong with you? Well, guess you bunch don't get to defend your families when they kick in the door. Love y'all. Do your research.
